United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)
The NRC was created to enable the nation to safely use radioactive materials for beneficial civilian purposes while ensuring that people and the environment are protected. The NRC regulates commercial nuclear power plants and other uses of nuclear materials, such as in nuclear medicine, through licensing, inspection and enforcement of its requirements.

CRCPD’s primary goal is to assure that radiation exposure to individuals is kept to the lowest practical level, while not restricting its beneficial uses.
Nondestructive Testing Management Association (NDTMA)
NDTMA’s mission is to provide a forum for the open exchange of managerial, professional and regulatory information critical to management; and to promote the interests of the nondestructive testing (NDT) industry.
American Society for Nondestructive Testing (ASNT)
ASNT’s mission is to help create a safer world by serving the NDT professions and promoting NDT technologies, through publishing, certification, research and conferencing.
