OPTIONAL SPEC-150 ANNUAL
MAINTENANCE PROGRAM
SPEC's innovative maintenance program is designed to control costs and keep
equipment at peak performance. Perfectly operating equipment is safe and stays
on the job, not sent away for service or repairs. This optional program means
less down time and greater profits.
The Annual Maintenance Program follows these basic steps:
When you decide its time to swap the ASM/Lock Module, simply call SPEC to
arrange for a replacement Automatic Securing Mechanism (ASM)/Lock Module along
with special tools, to be sent to your facility. Ideally, to avoid shipping
expense, the exchange is timed to coincide with the routine replacement of an
Ir-192 source.
Replaced in minutes, the ASM/Lock Module is the ONLY component of the
SPEC-150 that must be disassembled, cleaned and inspected yearly.
When the new ASM/Lock Module arrives, simply follow instructions in
the SPEC-150 User's Manual to remove the old unit and replace it with
the new one. The SPEC-150 is ready to return to use.
Send the old ASM/Lock Module to SPEC and it is retrofitted and returned to the rotation pool for the next customer.
There are never any hidden charges or added costs for parts or labor. You will only be charged for repairs that are attributed to abuse on the equipment.
Conditions :
All SPEC-150 devices owned by the customer must be covered.
The customer agrees to purchase a minimum of two (2) Ir-192 sources per year for each device covered on the program.
It's that easy. Your exposure device stays on the job where it belongs. And, you don't have to worry about dangerous equipment failures that might cause injury to your workers, subject you to liability, and cost you money.
Scheduling equipment for jobs is also made easier. You no longer have to plan down time for lengthy maintenance procedures that can run into hours at best, and days if you send your equipment away for servicing.
Knowing in advance what your annual maintenance costs will be, is a great advantage to have at budget time. You never have to estimate how many of your exposure devices will require extensive repairs upon annual inspection and make sure you put enough dollars in the budget to cover both the repairs and the transportation expense.
The Optional SPEC-150 Annual Maintenance Program must commence when the device is in working order. A device cannot be placed on the program if the device is in a malfunctioning state. If the optional maintenance program is not elected, service and maintenance of the ASM/Lock Module is charged on a parts and labor basis.
