CURRENT NEWS -  2T UPDATE

Dear Valued SPEC-2T Customers:

Source Production & Equipment Company Inc. (SPEC) regrets to inform you that the SPEC-2T Type B(U) Certificate

USA/9056/B(U)-85 will terminate on April 30, 2015. After careful consideration of the regulatory, economic, and liability factors associated with maintaining the Type B certificate, it is clear the situation is unsustainable. After April 30, 2015, SPEC will not provide sources or replacement parts for the SPEC-2T. This information is provided in advance so that you will have sufficient time to prepare for the transition from the SPEC-2T exposure device to a new exposure device.

The SPEC-2T sustained a 40 year lifespan and served the radiography industry well. The reliability, durability, and safety record of the SPEC-2T made it the device of choice for many customers throughout the years. The SPEC-150 carries on the tradition of reliability, durability and safety of the SPEC-2T and takes those attributes to a new level. We hope that you will consider the SPEC-150 when making your decision on replacement equipment.

We greatly appreciate your continued support. Please feel free to contact the SPEC Sales Department for further information.

Thank you,
Kevin J. Schehr, DBA
Vice President and General Manager
